Coaching Tip of the Week
It’s good to play singles and doubles. The social side of the game is great, but if you want to really improve you need to put more focus on specific parts of your game:
Are you pressuring your opponent with your presence?? Looking to intercept, looking lively, looking positive! (Doesn’t mean having a dodgy freaky smile!)
Are you attacking a weaker serve and pressuring 1st shot?? Step in more and take the ball earlier.
Are you getting on your strongest shot as much as possible?? Might mean more footwork but your giving yourself better chance of pressuring your opponent again.
Drink of the Week – A little sparkle for the New Year!
